Reading the formulas
Each letter names a face. Turn it a quarter turn clockwise as if you were looking straight at that face. Keep white on the bottom and yellow on top; “front” faces you.
Bottom cross

White cross on the bottom. Each white edge's side color matches the center above it.
Part 1: make a daisy
Daisy
Keep yellow on top. Bring all four white edges up around the yellow center, white facing up. Their other colors don't matter yet.

Part 2: turn the daisy into the cross
Turn the top (U) until a petal's side color matches the center below it. Hold that side as the front, then:
The white edge drops to the bottom. Do the same for all four petals, turning the whole cube (yellow stays on top) to bring each one to the front.
Bottom corners

Bottom layer complete. The white face is solved and the bottom row of every side matches its center.
Find a corner with a white sticker in the top layer. Turn the top until that corner sits directly above the spot it belongs in (between its two colored centers), and hold the cube so that spot is at the front-right-bottom. Then pick the case:

Middle edges

First two layers complete. Only the top layer is left.
Find a top-layer edge with no yellow on it. Hold the cube so the edge's empty home slot is the front-right middle slot, then turn the top until the edge's side sticker matches a center:

Look around the sides of the top layer for two corners on the same side that share a color (“headlights”).
